Welcome to all residents at Place Delacroix
The goal of these courses is to make classical drawing accessible to all and their curriculum is rooted primarily in Renaissance, Baroque and 18th century drawing methods. During these periods in European civilization, drawing ceased to be a simple preparatory tool to become an autonomous intellectual discipline.
With a strong emphasis on proportions, light and shadow, perspective, and human anatomy, these courses will give you the tools to accurately draw anything around you.
Since everyone has a different learning pace and different expectations and goals, I tailor my teaching to each student. This approach not only allows you to benefit from the instruction that suits your needs, but also gives you the possibility to start a class at any time, regardless of your level.
Each class holds four students or fewer and the courses are taught in English and French.
I will provide all the necessary materials.
This course is the first of two introductory courses and is designed for absolute beginners.
It is the second of the two introductory courses and is the mandatory first drawing course for those with some drawing experience.
This course covers the essentials of a good portrait drawing.
